    DAY 1 Arrive in Catania Airport, Eastern Sicily

    • Arrive at Catania Airport
    • Transfer to the your lodgings in Taormina 
    • Welcome dinner in Taormina

    DAY 2 Taormina

    • Take a walking tour to the following sites: Piazza del Duomo: Explore the heart of Catania as you visit the stunning Cathedral of Sant’Agata, the iconic Elephant Fountain, and the vibrant Fish Market.
    • Lunch in Catania 
    • Immerse yourself in the rich history and breathtaking beauty of Taormina as you embark on an exhilarating tour of the town and its majestic Greek Theater.
    • Optional 6:00- 8:00 PM: Embark on an exclusive sunset  private boat ride to the captivating Isola Bella. 
      • OR: Take the Cable car to Isola Bella and relax at the beautiful emerald beaches 

    Nighttime Suggestion: Attend a performance at the Greek Theater if available

    DAY 3 Taormina – Mt Etna Small Villages

    Today we will set off on a private tour to visit an authentic small village close by

    DAY 4  Winery Tour and Light Etna Experience

    • Light Etna Tour with one hour free to see the craters 
    • Lunch and wine tasting at an incredible winery near Mt Etna

    Unique Flavor Profiles: The combination of the volcanic soil’s mineral content, good drainage, moisture retention, and thermal regulation all work in harmony to create unique flavor profiles in the wines and produce grown near Mount Etna. The minerals absorbed by the plants from the soil can impart distinct mineral notes and nuances to the grapes and other crops. Additionally, the stress caused by the challenging growing conditions can lead to lower yields but concentrated flavors, resulting in wines with exceptional complexity and character.



    DAY 5  Siracusa-Ortigia

    • Transfer to Ortigia 
    • Visit the ancient archaeological site of the Neapolis, including the Greek Theater, the Ear of Dionysius, and the Roman Amphitheater. 
    • Lunch in Ortigia  
    • Time permitting: Immerse yourself in the local culture by visiting the colorful local food and spice markets, such as the historic market of Ortigia.

    Nighttime Suggestion: 

    •  Walk around the historic center of Ortigia Island, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, known for its beautiful architecture and charming streets.Discover the stunning Cathedral of Syracuse (Duomo di Siracusa) in Ortigia, a mix of Norman, Byzantine, and Baroque styles.
    • Visit a Palace at Sunset with beautiful balconies and views of the Duomo Square 

    Enjoy a sunset stroll along the promenade, taking in the enchanting views, unique shopping and the lively atmosphere of the city Indulge in the local cuisine.



    DAY 6 Agrigento-Valley of the Temples & Scala di Turchi

    • Head to Agrigento (approximately 2.5 hour drive)
    • Discover the Scala dei Turchi: Head to the nearby coast and witness the unique natural wonder known as the Scala dei Turchi (Stair of the Turks). This white limestone cliff formation offers a stunning backdrop for sunbathing, swimming, and taking memorable photographs.
    • Lunch In Agrigento
    • Visit the Valley of the Temples: Explore the ancient Greek ruins of the Valley of the Temples, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Marvel at the well-preserved temples such as the Temple of Concordia and the Temple of Juno, and take in the stunning views of the surrounding countryside.
    • Explore the Historic Center: Take a stroll through the charming historic center of Agrigento. Discover narrow streets lined with picturesque buildings, and visit local shops.

    DAY 7  Noto

    • Head to Noto, the jewel of Baroque architecture for a historical 1 hour train ride through the town 
    • Experience the joy of cooking in the heart of nature with our Farm-to-Table Cooking Class. Set on a picturesque farm, you’ll learn to create delicious dishes using the freshest, locally-sourced ingredients. Guided by expert chefs, this hands-on experience combines culinary creativity with the charm of Sicilian life. From harvesting produce to crafting farm-inspired meals, you’ll enjoy a truly immersive and unforgettable journey into the art of wholesome cooking.

    DAY 8  Noto to Catania Airport

    • Explore the Historic Center: Wander through the enchanting streets of Ragusa’s historic center, known as Ragusa Ibla. Discover its Baroque architecture, charming alleys, and picturesque squares, including Piazza Duomo, where you can visit the stunning Ragusa Cathedral.
    • Visit the Ragusa Superiore: Explore the newer part of Ragusa, Ragusa Superiore, which boasts elegant boulevards, shops, and a vibrant dining scene. Don’t miss the impressive Church of San Giovanni Battista and the panoramic viewpoints overlooking Ragusa Ibla.
    • Sample Sicilian Cuisine: Indulge in Sicilian culinary delights at local trattorias and restaurants. Ragusa is known for its delicious pasta dishes, fresh seafood, and delectable sweets like cannoli and gelato. Be sure to savor the unique flavors of the region.
    • Time permitting: Tour the Castello di Donnafugata: Take a trip to the nearby Castello di Donnafugata, a stunning 19th-century castle surrounded by lush gardens. Explore its opulent interiors, beautiful gardens, and enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding countryside from its towers.
