DAY 1– Arrive in Catania Airport, Eastern Sicily

• Transfer to the your lodgings in Taormina 
• Welcome dinner in Taormina

DAY 2 – Giardini Naxos-Cooking class 

Indulge in a culinary adventure within the warm confines of a family kitchen nestled in Giardini Naxos, where the delightful presence of the teacher’s mom  “Nonna Maria” is a cherished tradition.

As for the menu, you have several enticing options:

• Artisan Pasta Workshop: Dive into the world of pasta-making as you craft fresh pasta, including ravioli and gnocchi, entirely from scratch. Experiment with a variety of pasta types, including colored varieties, and pair them with a medley of delectable sauces.
• Classic Italian Feast: Embark on a gastronomic journey with a four-course Italian extravaganza. This culinary experience encompasses antipasto, a pasta course, a sumptuous main dish accompanied by delightful sides, and a delectable dessert.
• Sicilian Delights: Immerse yourself in the flavors of Sicily with a four-course showcase of traditional Sicilian specialties. Explore the richness of Sicilian cuisine in every delicious bite.

After a day filled with culinary creativity, we will come together to savor our dishes, accompanied by a fine bottle of Sicilian wine.

• Relax at the beach in Giardini Naxos or Isola Bella 
• Optional Add on: 6:00- 8:00 PM: Embark on an exclusive sunset  private boat ride to the captivating Isola Bella, where you may have the opportunity to witness the mesmerizing sight of playful dolphins dancing in the azure waters, a sight that will leave you in awe.
• Nighttime Suggestion: Attend a performance at the Greek Theater if available

DAY 4  – Taormina/Mt Etna Small Villages 

Today we will set off on a private tour to visit an authentic small village nearby

• Olive Oil Farm Visit:
  • Explore an olive oil farm and witness the production process.
  • Sample delicious olive oil to experience its unique flavors.

  • Learn about the local cheese production process.
  • Interact with cheese producers and gain insights into their craft.
• Authentic Sicilian Experience:
  • Enjoy an authentic Sicilian lunch in the village.
  • Indulge in a variety of popular local foods.
  • Visit a Sicilian musician playing a traditional medieval instrument.

DAY 5 – Mt. Etna Tour and Winery tour with lunch  

• Light Etna Tour with one hour free time to see the craters 

• Lunch and wine tasting at an incredible winery near Mt Etna

Unique Flavor Profiles: The combination of the volcanic soil’s mineral content, good drainage, moisture retention, and thermal regulation all work in harmony to create unique flavor profiles in the wines and produce grown near Mount Etna. The minerals absorbed by the plants from the soil can impart distinct mineral notes and nuances to the grapes and other crops. DAY 6 –Siracusa-Ortigia

• Transfer to Ortigia 
• Visit the ancient archaeological site of the Neapolis, including the Greek Theater, the Ear of Dionysius, and the Roman Amphitheater. 
• Lunch in Ortigia  
• Time permitting: Immerse yourself in the local culture by visiting the colorful local food and spice markets, such as the historic market of Ortigia.

Nighttime Suggestion: 

•  Walk around the historic center of Ortigia Island, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, known for its beautiful architecture and charming streets.Discover the stunning Cathedral of Syracuse (Duomo di Siracusa) in Ortigia, a mix of Norman, Byzantine, and Baroque styles.
• Visit a Palace at Sunset with beautiful balconies and views of the Duomo Square 

Enjoy a sunset stroll along the promenade, taking in the enchanting views, unique shopping and the lively atmosphere of the city Indulge in the local cuisine.
